A Christmas Music Event will be held on Thursday, December 13th featuring Trey & Clair McDaniel and the release of their new album, Shake Free. The night will be filled with familiar Christmas favorites. This is a free event for the community and light refreshments will be provided.

The Southeastern Illinois Center for Pastoral Counseling is sponsoring a free Grief Support Group meeting to be held at the First United Methodist Church in Carmi, IL for anyone who has experienced a loss (death of a loved one, divorce, long-term illness, etc.).
