The Southeastern Illinois Center for Pastoral Counseling is sponsoring a free Grief Support Group meeting to be held at the First United Methodist Church in Carmi, IL for anyone who has experienced a loss (death of a loved one, divorce, long-term illness, etc.).

The Pregnancy Care Center will be having a bake sale at both front entrances of the Washington, IN Wal-Mart. Come check out all of the different choices of baked goods and meet some of the staff and volunteers of the Pregnancy Care Center.

Lincoln Fall Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, October 13th in downtown Linton, IN. The day includes a marketplace, amateur Backyard BBQ Smoke Off, entertainment including busking, cruise-in, food, free kid's activities and games and contests.

Lincolnland Worship Center will be having their annual Harvest Party on Saturday, October 13th from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. CST. There will be bounce houses, games, music, food, drinks and more. Feel free to bring your favorite pot of chili to share!

South Friendship Church, located 5 miles south of Boonville, IN on the Alcoa Hwy will be hosting homecoming. Guest Evangelist will be David Stevens in the morning service at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served following the morning service. The Montgomery's will be singing after lunch at 1:30 p.m.

A21 Walk for Freedom will be held at the Sullivan Central Plaza in Sullivan, IN. This 1-mile walk is to bring awareness of human trafficking, one of the fastest growing crimes.

The Elberfeld Volunteer Fire Department in Elberfeld, IN will be having their annual Fish & Chicken Fry on Saturday, October 20th starting at 4:00 p.m. The meal includes fish and/or chicken, baked beans, potato salad, tea or lemonade, and a homemade dessert.
