The American Red Cross is asking people to schedule time to give blood or platelets now to keep the blood supply stable ahead of the busy holiday season. Those who come to give blood, platelets or plasma Oct. 27-Nov. 16, will receive $20 in e-gift cards to a merchant of choice.
