DESCRIPTION:The Return – Greene County  \nSeptember 26th has been designated as the Global Day of Prayer and Repentance. All around the world groups of Christians will be gathering to reach out to those that have fallen away from their faith and those who don’t yet know Christ. In America\, thousands will be gathering in Washington DC on the mall of the Capital building. Also happening that day is Franklin Graham’s Prayer Walk 2020 (also in Washington DC)\, which will lead to the program on the mall. As part of an effort to participate in these special events locally\, there will be an outreach program beginning at the Bloomfield Park on that same day (Saturday the 26th) kicking off at 12 noon. \nThere will be a time of worship lead by guest speakers and everyone is invited to “pull up a chair” to join us! At 2 p.m.\, the Jericho Walk will take place around the courthouse as we walk and pray on the sidewalk around the square for God’s guidance for our nation\, our state\, and our community. At 4 p.m.\, we will return to the park for The Return Celebration\, a time of music celebration as visiting musicians/groups play and lead us in praise! \nFor more information\, you can email carolynsburgess@yahoo.com for the local event.
