People can also take it online at www.fpcjindiana.org/survey \nThe church will also be inviting people interested in learning about Christianity to a  seven week study called Christianity Explored. That study is on Sunday evenings from April 3 to May 15 from 5:30pm to 7pm at the church house: 3240 Saint Charles St in Jasper. A meal and childcare will be provided for any wanting to attend. \nThis study is very informal and no one will be asked to read\, pray\, or sing out loud. You can ask any question you have about Christianity.

DESCRIPTION:Beloved Sisters and Brothers\, \nThe people of Ukraine are suffering through extaordinary hardships due to the invasion of their sovereign homeland by a foreign power\, in this case\, Russia. People the world over are sending money\, supplies\, good wishes and even armaments–all of which represent an out-pouring of love and support. Others are protesting the actions of the Russian aggression against a neighboring country which stands in opposition to Russia’s plans and geo-political aspirations. Those demonstrations are undoubtedly motivated by genuine concern\, frustration and even disgust over the actions of an aggressor nation. \nAbove all else\, in addition to all the above expressions of support and concern\, there is an urgent need for prayer. To that end\, this is an open invitation to sisters and brothers everywhere to join us in a time for unified prayer\, designated to lift up the people of Ukraine to God in prayer\, asking for His mercy\, comfort\, protection\, and blessings to get through this ordeal\, and asking God to bring this turmoil\, destruction and loss to a merciful end. \nIf you would like to join us in prayer\, please join us by phone for a time of collective prayer for the people of Ukraine [see access information below] at NOON on Thursday\, March 10th. That is 2 weeks after the invasion began; NOON Central Time is 8:00 PM in Kviv–so we are offering this up as an evening prayer for help in their time of desparate need. The organized time of PRAYER will last for approximately 30 minutes\, depending upon the length of our expressions of prayers during the call. \nIF you prefer NOT to phone in\, we invite you to find a quiet place in your home or where you are at that designated time\, and speak to God with your own prayers — still a part of our time in prayer together as concerned sisters and brothers. \nOur prayers will be focused on asking for God’s guidance\, love and mercy for the people of Ukraine. DESCRIPTION:EVANSVILLE\, IND (FEBRUARY 11\, 2022) – Right to Life of Southwest Indiana (RTLSWIN) along with Churches for Life are hosting its annual “Show Love from the Bottom Up” Diaper Drive that helps local pregnancy centers restock on diaper supplies. In 2021 almost 31\,000 diapers were distributed to the centers. This year the distribution will include Birthright\, Evansville Christian Life Center and Trotter House\, Little Lambs and the Gabriel Project in Evansville\, and Marsha’s Place in Henderson\, Kentucky. \n  \n“What a wonderful way to show love in a very real and tangible way\, by helping supply diapers to centers that are on the front lines of helping moms navigate an unplanned pregnancy\,” said Amy Davis\, Family Life Coordinator for RTLSWIN. \n  \n“Helping pregnancy centers with practical needs such as diapers is one way we can be of assistance in the cause for life because we care about children born and unborn\,” said Mary Ellen Van Dyke\, Executive Director for RTLSWIN. \n  \nDonations of diapers and wipes can be dropped off at participating area churches or at the Right to Life Office at 20 NW Third Street\, Suite 810 in downtown Evansville through the month of February.
